Learning from Other's ePortfolios
When I first graduated from college everyone kept saying, "It's not about what you know, but who you know." It turned out to be very true here in Michigan. To get a job in education you had to know someone. It's the connections to others in life that help us grow and learn.
Networking. Networking is the action or process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts. ePortfolios are a great way to build connections. I'm able to consume and contribute knowledge. In my current grad class the feedback I've gotten from my group members is priceless. They tell me exactly what they think and they tell me what would help viewers navigate through my site. I have also been able to gather ideas from viewing my groups ePortfolios. Their ideas are wonderful and have continually helped me improve my own site.
Please share how other's ePortfolios have helped you.
