1. With all the big changes happening in the world (online schooling, masks, social distancing), our children may feel like they completely lost control of their lives. I believe it's important to remember that BIG changes and even new experiences might feel confusing and scary to children.

It's so important we do our best to create structure and stability AND remind our kids about all the things that they still have the power over.

Here is a printableposter "Things I CAN Control" to remind our children (and ourselves!) of all the things we are in charge of...especially when things tend to feel out of control.

I also like the reminder for kids and myself to let go and enjoy life, even if things didn't go the way we wanted.
